Ascension Sacred Heart Studer Children's Hospital
New year, new walls.Pensacola Sign recently partnered with Ascension Sacred Heart to fill their new Nine Mile Road Studer Children's office with vibrant wall murals. Fostering a welcoming environment for medical patients is crucial for comfort and stress level management, even more so in a pediatrics facility. Our design team layed out each of the mural illustrations while developing a cohesive branded environment amongst each wall piece. Pensacola Sign provided full print and installation services for the graphics. The wall wraps transformed Ascension's unused examination room walls into interesting and comforting areas for future patients.
UWF Athletics | Branding an environment for a successful collegiate athletics program.
The University of West Florida Athletics program has developed a prestigious legacy over the years. The Athletics administrators wanted a way to showcase their achievements as well as improve morale amongst staff and athletes. They contacted Pensacola Sign to develop a branded sign package that would fill their Field House with program values as well as display successes.
Pensacola Sign designed and crafted a multilayered sign with updateable slots that keep a count of different awards such as Championships, All Americans, Player of the Year and more. The sign is comprised of a brushed backer with a painted front, stacked with the Argos logo front and center. We paired CNC routed dimensional letters with the aforementioned layered sign in the same conference room. The letters spell out program ethos that encourage and motivate all involved in UWF Athletics. We completed the brand package with a large dimensional logo accompanied by larger dimensional lettering in an adjacent office area.
All in all, Pensacola Sign worked with UWF to create a motivational branded environment for the Athletics Club.
Locklin Technical College | Creating an engaging workspace for technology students with a branded environment.
Creating a learning environment that is engaging is important, especially for students. Locklin Technical College approached Pensacola Sign wanting to reimagine their IT classroom branding. We engineered their proposed designs and requests, manufacturing an interior branding system that would interest viewers of all ages.
Our designers brought circuit board illustrations to life via 3m contour-cut vinyl with a glossy laminate. We placed brand values on signage throughout the classroom as a lower-cost wall mural alternative. Our craftsman routed the signs' white acrylic letters on the resident CNC machine. After each cut, our professional painter used our Matthews Paint mixing station for a high-quality, smooth brand color finish. We printed the art on the signage backer on 3m matte vinyl via our HP Latex printers.
These interior branding solutions form an environment that intrigues students - keeping the pursuit of knowledge flowing day in and day out.

The Wine Bar on Palafox | Bringing a brand to life through a grand reopening.
The Wine Bar on Palafox reopened in June with new and improved outdoor and interior brand spaces. Our team brought designer Homer Jolly’s artwork to life through a variety of printed art installations, including these wall murals in the interior seating areas. Our team first visited the dining room and bar areas to get accurate measurements for the wall wrap dimensions. Pensacola Sign printed the downtown-inspired art on our wide format HP Latex 560 printers, ensuring we could include all of the details featured in Homer's illustrations. We printed the art installations using high quality 3M vinyls with over-laminate for a long lifespan. Printing wall murals versus hand painting murals can be a cost effective way to project an artist's vision onto a wall or any surface, really. Pensacola Sign can print and install designs onto walls, vehicles, counters and more.

McGuire's Irish Pub | Digitally recreating a large, faded hand-painted mural may be too much for a typical local sign shop. Good thing, Pensacola Sign isn’t your typical local sign shop.
If you know anything about Pensacola, you know about the great food, fun and, yes, occasional debauchery, that occurs at McGuire’s Irish Pub—a Pensacola staple since 1977. So, when Mr. McGuire contacted Pensacola Sign for some help turning his old, faded hand-painted exterior mural into a new, colorful and long-lasting version of itself, we were thrilled at the opportunity.
First, the Pensacola Sign team extensively photographed the existing mural to recreate the artwork from scratch in a digital format. Next, the artwork was adapted to fit Mr. McGuire’s new vision before being printed using a premium IJ480 3M vinyl to ensure long-lasting outdoor durability and appropriate application to the heavily textured stucco exterior of the pub.
After a careful, very detailed installation, the original west mural was replaced and a second east mural was added—giving this old-time favorite a refreshed feel. Better yet, the mural now lives in a digital format, should any updates be needed in the future.
Next time you’re there, be sure to take a look. Oh, and be sure to order some 18 cent bean soup while you’re at it.

Pen Air Federal Credit Union | Frosted vinyl window graphics for personality and privacy.
PenAir Federal Credit Union was opening a new location on Airport Blvd in Pensacola, with mostly all glass interior walls. They requested a step and repeat of their icon to act as a privacy barrier, as well as décor. The sheer scale of the project would have made cutting etched vinyl and weeding it too costly and time consuming. Our solution was to use our white ink capability on clear premium 3m vinyl. This created the illusion of etched glass for only a fraction of the budget.
For installation, we opted to use 3M 180c-114 clear vinyl due to the comply v3 air-egress adhesive this film uses. This allowed our installers to apply the graphics quickly and without having to use application fluids. To protect the vinyl from custodial cleaning and physical damage, clear over laminate was used. All in all, the project consumed over 1000 linear feet, 24” wide, of vinyl window treatments.
