Studer Family Children’s Hospital has formed a partnership with UF Health, and contacted us to rebrand and colorchange their outdated ambulances. Repainting a vehicle of this nature can get extremely costly. They needed a cost effective way of changing the color of the vehicle as well as applying the new branding. Painting would be a permanent solution and they would not ever be able to go back to the original color without painting over again.
Using 3M180c pigmented vinyl we were able to keep these costs down by saving labor and materials by not having to print and laminate the wrap. Furthermore, we thoroughly prepped the ambulances with multiple cleaning solutions twice after the removal of the old graphics. Application of the base blue sapphire was next for a clean colorchange canvas. Our techs then meticulously heat set all of this conformed vinyl for a solid adhesion. We then printed and cut premium 3m vinyl logo overlays to finish the design with all new graphics.
It’s a Wrap
Obviously the nature of these vehicles requires them to be available all the time and must be kept secure. Our dedicated wrapping facility allows us to keep the vehicles locked up and safe. It also allowed us to wrap continuously without having to worry about the weather conditions. We colorchanged and wrapped these two vehicles quickly, and efficiently delivered them to the client.
